How to use it

  1. Paste the original and updated text into the two fields.
  2. Choose any options, then select Compare texts.
  3. Review the result, then copy it or download a text file.

Read the comparison

The comparison is line based and sensitive to spaces and capitalization. Changed lines appear as a removal followed by an addition. Labels and plus/minus prefixes identify changes without relying on color. Newline styles are normalized; a final newline still counts as an empty line. Limit: 1,000 lines and 200,000 UTF-16 units per input.

Line-based editing normalizes Windows and older Mac line endings to LF. Keep your original if line-ending style matters.
