WebP to PNG

Convert a still WebP image into a PNG while keeping transparent areas.

Choose your WEBP

One still image, up to 30 MB and 24 megapixels. Maximum 8,192 pixels per side.

Your file is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to ToolPixels.

Keep transparency

The PNG keeps the WebP image dimensions and transparent pixels. This is useful for logos, cutouts, and graphics that need a PNG-compatible editor.

Still images only

Animated WebP files are rejected instead of silently losing their animation. PNG uses lossless compression on the decoded pixels, but cannot restore detail lost in a lossy WebP. The PNG may be larger than the original.

Limits and original files

The original file is not changed. Images are decoded and re-encoded; original metadata is not preserved, and colors may differ. Large images may exceed your device's memory even within the limits. If conversion fails, try a smaller image or another browser.
