Image Resizer

Resize a PNG, JPG, or WebP by pixel dimensions or percentage. Keep its aspect ratio or set width and height independently, then download locally.

Start with your image

One still PNG, JPG, or WebP, up to 30 MB and 24 megapixels. Maximum 8,192 pixels per side. Animated images are rejected.

Image settings

PNG keeps transparency and ignores quality. JPG uses a white background. WebP quality 100 is still lossy.

Your file is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to ToolPixels.

Pixels or percentage

Pixel mode gives a specific width and height. With Keep aspect ratio enabled, changing either dimension updates the other from the original proportions, rounded to a whole pixel. Turn it off to stretch the image.

Percentage mode scales both dimensions together. For example, 50% turns a 1200 by 800 image into 600 by 400 pixels. Enlarging cannot recover missing detail. Output is limited to 24 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side.

Keep the original

Edits are applied to the original image each time. Export re-encodes the decoded pixels and does not preserve the original metadata. Colors may differ with browser decoding. Large images can exceed device memory even within the stated limits. If processing fails, try a smaller image.
