Content survives, layout does not

HTML is sanitized before conversion and scripts are never run. Headings, emphasis, lists, safe links, blockquotes and fenced code are converted. CSS, images, forms, embeds and scripting are discarded. Tables become readable rows with pipe-separated cell text, not full Markdown tables. Complex layouts and unsupported elements may lose structure. Check the result before publishing.
