Unit conversion

Pressure Converter

Convert pressure between pascals, kilopascals, bar, psi, standard atmospheres, and torr.

Convert a value

Use a decimal point, not a comma. Scientific notation such as 1e3 is accepted.

Your values are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to ToolPixels. This tool does not save them.

Keep the pressure reference unchanged

Unit conversion does not change gauge pressure into absolute pressure. A gauge reading remains gauge pressure after conversion, and an absolute reading remains absolute.

One standard atmosphere is defined as 101,325 pascals; local atmospheric pressure varies. Torr uses 1/760 of a standard atmosphere and is not labeled as an exact millimeter of mercury.

Example

1 standard atmosphere = 101.325 kPa.

Precision and input limits

Results use browser floating-point arithmetic and are rounded to your selected number of significant digits, not decimal places. Small or large results may use scientific notation. This is not an arbitrary-precision calculator.

Enter zero or a number with magnitude from 1e-100 to 1e100. Signed values are supported for mathematical conversions. Swap units exchanges the unit choices without changing your input. Editing an input clears the previous result.
