How the tip is calculated

Multiply the bill amount by the tip percentage divided by 100. Add the tip to the bill for the total. When splitting, divide both amounts by the number of people.

Results are rounded to two decimal places for display. The calculator does not assign a currency, so use the same currency as your bill.
