Text to Base64
Encode text into standard Base64, including Unicode characters.
How to use it
- Paste or type your text, or load the example.
- Choose any options, then select Encode Base64.
- Review the result, then copy it or download a text file.
Encoding is not encryption
Text is converted to UTF-8 bytes, then standard Base64 using +, / and = padding. Spaces and line breaks in the input are preserved as encoded bytes. Base64 makes data transportable, not secret. Anyone with the encoded value can decode it.
Pasted line endings are normalized by the browser to LF before encoding. Decoded control characters may be invisible, and the text box may display CR as LF. Copy and download preserve the exact decoded result.
