How to use it

  1. Paste or type your text, or load the example.
  2. Choose any options, then select Decode Base64.
  3. Review the result, then copy it or download a text file.

Standard Base64 and UTF-8 only

Whitespace around or within Base64 is ignored. Correct = padding is required when needed, and padding bits are validated. URL-safe Base64, data URL prefixes and non-UTF-8 binary data are rejected. If decoding fails, check the original encoding rather than deleting arbitrary characters.

Pasted line endings are normalized by the browser to LF before encoding. Decoded control characters may be invisible, and the text box may display CR as LF. Copy and download preserve the exact decoded result.
