Consumption and economy move in opposite directions
Lower L/100 km means less fuel used per distance. Higher MPG or km/L means more distance per amount of fuel. The conversion is reciprocal, not a fixed multiplier.
US and imperial gallons have different volumes, so the same vehicle has different numerical MPG ratings. Enter a value greater than zero; zero would require an infinite reciprocal result. Ratings do not predict every driving condition.
