How to Generate a Recurring Date List
A recurring date list applies a daily, weekly, monthly, or custom interval from a start date, then removes explicit exclusions. It is useful for schedules that need a transparent list as well as CSV or ICS output.

A few reliable inputs make the first result easier to review.
- The first occurrence date
- The frequency, interval, and number of dates required
- Known holidays, closures, or other excluded dates
How to Generate a Recurring Date List
- Enter the start date and choose the recurrence frequency
- Set Every to the interval and choose how many dates to create
- Enter excluded dates using the supported format
- Generate the list, inspect boundary dates, then download CSV or ICS
Worked example
Starting January 6 with Weekly, Every 2, and 6 dates creates a biweekly series. Excluding February 3 removes that occurrence rather than automatically moving it to another day.
Review the result
Confirm whether the start date counts as the first occurrence and how monthly dates behave near short months. Exclusion usually removes a date; it does not imply a replacement.
Practical tips
- Generate a short sample before a long schedule
- List exclusions explicitly
- Open the ICS file in a test calendar before broad import
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using weekly frequency when a fixed number of days is intended
- Assuming excluded dates shift forward automatically
- Importing duplicate events into a live calendar
