Scannable links and text
How to generate a QR code
Enter the final text or URL, choose a practical size and error-correction level, then test the exported code in its real setting.
Open the QR Code GeneratorCheck the destination first. A static QR code stores the exact text you enter. It cannot repair or update a broken URL after printing.
Create the code
- Paste text or a complete URL into the free QR Code Generator.
- Choose a minimum image size from 256 to 2,048 pixels.
- Select error correction: L, M, Q or H. Higher levels tolerate more damage but create denser symbols.
- Generate and download PNG for a fixed-size image or SVG for scalable artwork.
The tool accepts up to 1,200 UTF-8 bytes, includes a four-module white margin and may slightly enlarge the image so every module uses whole pixels.
Make it easy to scan
- Keep the white quiet zone intact.
- Use dark modules on a light background.
- Do not stretch, crop or blur the code.
- Use a larger printed size for long content or distant scanning.
- Test several phones, angles and lighting conditions.
Short URLs usually create simpler QR codes than long tracking links. Verify the page is mobile-friendly and uses HTTPS before distributing it.
Common questions
Does higher error correction always scan better?
No. It can help with minor damage, but it also increases density. Clean printing, adequate size and contrast remain essential.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Generation happens locally in your browser and ToolPixels does not upload or save the content.
